Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the GroceryTab app, provided by Deep Fortune Inc ("we", "us"). By using GroceryTab you agree to these terms.

What GroceryTab is (and isn't)

• GroceryTab extracts information from receipts you scan and shows you spending insights, price history, and pantry estimates.
• AI-extracted data can contain mistakes. Insights are informational only — always check the original receipt for anything important. GroceryTab is not financial advice.
• You keep ownership of the content you upload (your receipt photos). You give us the limited right to process it to provide the service to you.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory (or your local equivalent) to create an account.
• Don't misuse the service (attempt to break security, scan receipts you have no right to, or use the service unlawfully).

GroceryTab Pro (auto-renewing subscription)

• GroceryTab offers an optional subscription, GroceryTab Pro, which unlocks unlimited scans and advanced insights. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing & cancelling: manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies.
• A free tier is available with a monthly scan limit; limits and features may change as the product evolves.

Service changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features as GroceryTab evolves. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers & liability

GroceryTab is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deep Fortune Inc is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Deep Fortune Inc's registered office.
